She also has a stash of books about organizing, but because she hasn’t felt like she can successfully use them, she has them hidden away. She was embarrassed for anyone to see them until her home gets organized.
In the closet, Susan realized she overbuys and has a lot of black clothes and with Kathi’s help, she knows what she needs to buy and in what colors to complete her wardrobe. Having the clothes able to breathe and having space on the floor has made a big difference in the way Susan sees her clothes and herself. She says entering her closet feels like shopping in a nice store, and she feels more attractive getting dressed in a more attractive environment. She can easily choose an outfit the night before, set it out for the day, and when she gets home she can put her clothes away with no trouble.
She will also donate her organizing books to the library.
