Dear Kathi,
Do you have a good solution for how we women should lug around our laptops? I carry mine back and forth to work each day, and I always take it with me on the plane when I travel. It is my right arm, but I’m having a difficult time finding a carrying solution for it. I currently use a backpack, which is easy to load and carry, but it’s starting to look dog-eared. I need something that looks good, but also provides a comfortable way to carry my laptop fairly long distances (imagine the walk from B terminal to C terminal at O’Hare …).
Thanks,
Lori
Ironically, I recently saw a great bag in an airport luggage shop. It was a roll-on or an all-purpose bag that had wheels and handle that disattached from it. So when you wanted a great a purpose bag (one of my 18 Essential Elements) you removed the wheels and when you needed to lug it around, you attached the wheels and handle and it turns into a roll-on luggage piece. It was leather and even came in burnt orange which is why it caught my eye in the first place!

Another option is a rolling briefcase check these:

Another idea is to carry a smaller laptop bag with a strap that can fit inside a wheeled device. This way it is versatile and more fashionable when you arrive at your destination.
I hope this helps fro your laptop challenge!
