Situation: My client has been through a lot over the past few years. Now that she is single and an empty-nester, she is ready to put her best foot forward and take the world by storm. With a successful career history and passion for her career choice, she is ready to re emerge in the workplace and give her talents to the world.
The photo below is her ‘before’ picture. While I love her top, the mommy straight leg jeans did nothing to balance her curves.
Challenge: There are not enough clothes in the world for plus size figures. The selection is terrible and it really takes extreme focus, patience and knowledge to find the perfect clothes. This woman did not realize her beauty and had been hiding her curves in black (a common malady) and oversize clothes that were not form fitting. She also did not have accessories that would highlight her best features or shoes that were more than simply “sensible”. Yes, ladies, there are shoes out there that are comfortable and sexy at the same time!

After choosing new glasses, we went to work on a new hair style. Slightly quirky and fun, no more ho hum.

Solution: All my client needed was a little self-confidence and better wardrobe choices. She is beautiful and now able to find clothes in her closet that flatter and make her feel great. She has shoes that are a little above ‘sensible’ that she can wear for hours. She has new glasses that make her look both sexy and sophisticated. She gets compliments everywhere she goes!
