Petite Grows In Stature

Before / After Case Study:

Challenge:

This client is a petite who didn’t realize that she was a petite. She was stuck in oversized clothes until she tried on clothes that actually skimmed her body and showed off her shape.

Solution:

Find clothes that balance the top and bottom portions of her body and lengthen her overall image. Create a waistline to show off those fabulous curves!

What My Client Said:

“It’s been an epiphany working with you. We get so comfortable with what we know. We go a size larger thinking it will make us look smaller when, in fact, it does the opposite.

I really see that now. Investing in clothes for myself is now a simple and easy task. I have the knowledge to know what works for me and what to avoid. I have been receiving many compliments on my newly acquired fashion and style. Kathi, thank you, for your professionalism and expertise.”

  1. Do you have web sites you recommend for petites? I am a 60 yr old psychotherapist in private practice and want to present a more contemporary look. I wear size 2 or 4 petite and live in a small community with no dedicated petite store.
    Thanks,
    Christy

    1. Hi Christy,

I always shop in person for my clients but I do have a list of stores that have petite departments. Perhaps you can mail order from one of these stores and see if you can find the brand that works for you. Ann Taylor has nice petite clothing that would probably work well for your profession.

These department stores typically have the best selection of petite clothing. Although some have been cutting back their petite departments, many department stores continue to stock a good selection, especially if you shop on-line.
