Who is Donna Zalter?
Donna Zalter is the founder of All Hung Up Hangers and a luxury real estate professional in South Florida, where she has sold homes for about 20 years. Walking through hundreds of high-end closets, she noticed most were filled with cheap or mismatched hangers. Her father manufactures hangers for major retailers, and in 2017 she designed a direct-to-consumer line of six hanger styles, about 55 SKUs, built to commercial standards. Her thin plastic hangers have rubberized shoulders, notches for spaghetti straps, a swivel hook and movable rubberized clips. Donna grew up in Canada, holds an MBA and moved to the US at 28. She runs the hanger business around Florida's real estate season, which runs from about December to April.
