She and her husband have run a family restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side for 15 years. During the pandemic she founded Women Beyond the Table, a business network for women that grew into the Women Beyond the Table Podcast. She is the author of Text Messages to My Sons, built from the daily texts of love, wisdom and gratitude she sends her three grown sons, who wrote its foreword.
