Who is Jacqueline Lemieux-Bokor?
Jacqueline Lemieux-Bokor began her career as a stylist for Vogue and Vanity Fair, working alongside photographers such as Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, and has supported herself as a small business owner styling for major brands. She and her husband, both artists, were finishing the restoration of an old salt marsh farm in Massachusetts when it caught fire in the middle of the night. Their Vizsla, Boris, barked until they woke up; the family got out, but Boris died and her portfolios, books and props were lost. Years later, she created Remember Me As Sunshine, Love Notes From My Dog, a 68-page hardcover keepsake art book of senior dog portraits, flowers she grew herself and poems written in Boris's voice.
