Theresa Ashby, PhD, MBA, calls herself a recovering corporate executive. She spent years in healthcare, where she was vice president of operations over two hospitals and focused on processes, systems and efficiencies designed backward from the patient. She left corporate to consult and, after seeing how much venture capital was going into course platforms, joined forces with a business partner to start Kaleidoscope Media Services, which helps businesses grow by adding digital products and e-learning. Today she works as an advisor, speaker and author known as The Business Oracle, with a focus on conscious leadership and business transformation, and she has spoken at TEDx Fargo. Her clients and students know her as Dr. T.
