Dorothy Breininger, known as Dorothy the Organizer, is a professional organizer known from the Emmy-nominated A&E show Hoarders, where she is described as the fearless-yet-endearing problem solver. Before organizing, she worked as an executive assistant to the dean at Northeastern University in Boston and then at UCLA. She has been a professional organizer for 25 years and is a past national board member and past Los Angeles president of NAPO. She is a best-selling author whose latest book is Stuff Your Face or Face Your Stuff, and she has appeared on Dr. Phil, the Today Show and The View. Through her Boss Organizer program she trains and certifies new professional organizers. She lives in Los Angeles.
